The Miramichi Salmon Association has completed a major renovation to the facilities at the Miramichi Salmon Conservation
Centre to create a Centre of Excellence for Atlantic salmon studies. In addition to the existing tanks, there is now
a research tank room with 12 small tanks and 3 larger tanks that can be operated under full recirculation or with flow through
with brook water. There is an artificial stream channel indoors, new wet lab room and a 4 bedroom apartment for students
and scientists to stay.
